Responsibilities Supervise daily ranch operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Manage livestock handling, including feeding, watering, health monitoring, and breeding activities. Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment with precision and safety. Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge. Oversee animal husbandry practices to promote healthy growth and well-being of livestock and farm animals. Maintain ponds, greenhouse environments, and horticultural areas to support grass production. Ensure compliance with safety standards in all aspects of farm work and implement best practices for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in farming or ranch management with a strong background in agriculture or related fields. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively. Proficiency in operating farm machinery such as agricultural tractors, heavy equipment, forklifts, and power tools. Knowledge of animal care practices including livestock management and animal husbandry. Mechanical skills related to equipment repair, maintenance, welding, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations). Outdoor work experience with an emphasis on safety standards in production environments. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and use of hand tools safely. Familiarity with regenerative systems, horticulture techniques, greenhouse operations, and equipment maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills complemented by basic math proficiency for record keeping and measurements.
