Solid Ground Landscape is looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has the experience and problem-solving skills to properly diagnose, repair, install, and maintain irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in the field, enjoys troubleshooting, and understands the importance of providing professional service to our customers. Compensation $25.00+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Experienced technicians with strong troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills may qualify for higher compensation. What You'll Do Inspect, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems Troubleshoot irrigation controllers, valves, solenoids, pumps, wiring, and sprinkler components Diagnose leaks, broken lines, coverage issues, pressure problems, and electrical faults Install and program irrigation controllers and smart irrigation systems Perform irrigation start-ups, shut-downs, adjustments, and seasonal maintenance Test and adjust sprinkler systems for proper coverage and efficient water use Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs or improvements Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional irrigation experience required Strong knowledge of irrigation installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting Experience with irrigation controllers, valves, pumps, solenoids, wiring, and electrical troubleshooting Familiarity with Hydrawise, Rain Bird, Centralus , or similar smart irrigation platforms Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions What We Offer Competitive pay starting at $25.00+/hour, DOE Paid time off Paid holidays Opportunities for advancement Ongoing training and opportunities to expand your irrigation skills Company vehicle and tools, when applicable Steady work with a professional, growing company Work with both residential and commercial irrigation systems Join the Solid Ground Team At Solid Ground Landscape , we take pride in quality irrigation work, dependable service, and doing the job right the first time.
