Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Farm Labor General to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of hands-on tasks to support crop production, livestock management, equipment maintenance, delivery of Eggs and farm operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to the efficient running of the farm, ensuring high standards of safety, animal care, and productivity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment while developing valuable skills in farming and machinery operation. Duties Assist with planting, harvesting, irrigation, and crop maintenance to promote healthy growth and maximize yields Handle livestock including feeding, watering, grooming, and basic health checks to ensure animal well-being Operate farm machinery such as tractors, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding, and mechanical knowledge Support animal husbandry activities including livestock handling (Poultry), and habitat management Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper manual handling procedures and using personal protective equipment during all tasks Assist with planting operations and horticultural activities as needed to support plant growth projects Assist in the Egg Packing facility as needed Delivery of Eggs every Monday to Dallas. Requirements Previous farm experience or outdoor work experience demonstrating familiarity with agricultural environments Ability to operate agricultural machinery such as tractors confidently Knowledge of animal care practices including livestock management and animal husbandry techniques Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and general troubleshooting Experience with heavy lifting, manual handling, and the use of hand tools or power tools safely Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and commitment to maintaining a safe work site

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
