Responsibilities Assist with livestock handling and animal husbandry to ensure the well-being of cattle, horses, and other farm animals Operate heavy equipment such as agricultural tractors, forklifts, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on equipment including welding, power tools, and mechanical systems Manage manual handling tasks like heavy lifting, feeding animals, and installing irrigation or horticulture systems Support irrigation systems operation and greenhouse activities to promote healthy plant growth Conduct regular inspections of fences, barns, and animal enclosures to uphold safety standards in production Assist with farm infrastructure repairs using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience in farming, agriculture, or ranch work with a focus on livestock management and equipment operation Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred for team coordination tasks Familiarity with farm machinery repair, welding, irrigation systems, and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable Ability to operate heavy equipment such as agricultural tractors, forklifts, and other MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) machinery safely Strong animal care skills including livestock handling and animal husbandry practices Outdoor work experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and working in various weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping related to farm activities Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference every day!
