The person in this position will be responsible for soil management, equipment maintenance, and crop production involving cotton, wheat, grain sorghum, and hay. Oversee and direct planting, inspection, pesticide and fertilizer application, and harvesting of cotton, wheat, grain sorghum, and hay crops; Sort, load, haul, and transport harvested grain, crops, and hay as needed; Coordinate the use and maintenance of field equipment including planters, tractors, sprayers, balers, harvesters, tillage equipment, and seed cleaning equipment; Monitor crop and soil conditions to support optimal production yields; Assist with general farm operations and maintenance activities related to crop production.

Requirements:

Minimum 24 months experience in farming or agricultural field operations; Experience with cotton, wheat, grain sorghum, and hay production preferred; No minimum education required.

Travel:

Daily travel to and from field locations within a 20-mile radius of the primary worksite; Periodic parts runs and crop hauling as needed within a 100-mile radius.
