$28.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications We are a well-established commercial tomato farming operation near Arcadia, Florida , seeking an experienced Farm Labor Supervisor to oversee H-2A agricultural crews and support daily field operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced agricultural supervisor who understands the demands of vegetable production and can effectively lead a diverse workforce in a fast-paced field environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate H-2A farm labor crews during daily tomato harvesting and production activities. Assign workers to appropriate field tasks and monitor productivity and work quality. Ensure crews follow farm procedures, safety requirements, and proper harvesting and handling practices. Communicate daily work assignments and expectations clearly to employees. Monitor worker attendance, hours, productivity, and work performance. Maintain accurate daily crew and labor records. Coordinate with farm management regarding staffing, field conditions, production schedules, and labor needs. Help train workers on proper harvesting techniques, equipment use, safety procedures, and farm practices. Monitor field sanitation, drinking water, rest areas, and other required worker facilities. Identify and report equipment, crop, labor, or safety issues to management. Help coordinate worker transportation when required. Maintain a professional, respectful, and productive working environment. Perform other farm and supervisory duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience supervising agricultural crews is strongly preferred. H-2A farm labor experience is highly preferred. Experience with tomato or other vegetable production is a significant advantage. Ability to supervise and motivate a large field crew. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in Florida weather. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around agricultural fields for extended periods. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work the schedule required by the farm. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. Experience with agricultural transportation and/or farm labor contractor requirements is a plus.
