Job Description

Seed Sales & Warehouse Manager\r\n\r\nSilverEdge Cooperative is seeking a motivated Seed Sales & Warehouse Manager to lead and grow our seed department while overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, seed treatment, and customer service. This position plays a key role in ensuring seed products are available, accurately inventoried, professionally handled, and delivered on time while supporting profitable seed sales growth.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tManage the overall seed business, including inventory planning, preseason bookings, product availability, product billing, and supplier relationships.\r\n\tOversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring a clean, organized, safe, and efficient facility.\r\n\tMaintain accurate seed inventory, perform cycle counts, and coordinate year-end physical inventories.\r\n\tManage seed treatment operations, equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, and recordkeeping.\r\n\tCoordinate seed deliveries, routing, and logistics to ensure excellent customer service.\r\n\tSupport Agronomy Sales Specialists with product availability, customer events, plots, and sales initiatives.\r\n\tMaintain warehouse equipment, seed tenders, forklifts, delivery vehicles, and facilities.\r\n\tMonitor performance metrics, complete required reporting, and assist with budgeting and inventory reconciliation.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh school diploma required; agriculture-related degree preferred.\r\n\t3+ years of experience in agronomy, seed, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.\r\n\tLeadership or supervisory experience preferred.\r\n\tValid driver's license required.\r\n\tCDL, Commercial Seed Treater License, and forklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.\r\n\tStrong organizational, communication, inventory management, and problem-solving skills.\r\n\tProficiency with Microsoft Office; AgVision experience is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.\r\n\tOperate forklifts and warehouse equipment.\r\n\tWork indoors and outdoors, including extended seasonal hours.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat Success Looks Like\r\n\r\nThe successful candidate will:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLead profitable seed department growth.\r\n\tMaintain exceptional inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.\r\n\tDeliver outstanding customer service.\r\n\tBuild strong relationships with customers, vendors, and the agronomy team.\r\n\tPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhy Choose SilverEdge Cooperative?\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPaid time off that grows with tenure, including vacation accrual and paid holidays—supporting the seasonal demands of agronomy work and busy application periods\r\n\tAdditional leave options such as funeral leave and time off for civic responsibilities, helping employees balance work during critical life events\r\n\tOngoing training, job-related education, and performance reviews that support skill development in agronomy operations and customer service\r\n\tA team-oriented, service-driven work environment focused on collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement in serving growers and customers\r\n\tOpportunities to grow within a cooperative that values employee contributions, encourages feedback, and supports long-term career development\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJoin SilverEdge Cooperative and be part of a dedicated agronomy team that supports local growers while working in a collaborative, service-driven environment focused on teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee success.\r\n
