Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations within our agricultural and animal husbandry environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a solid understanding of farming practices, equipment maintenance, and animal care. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily tasks while ensuring the well-being of both staff and animals. Cattle management of receiving cattle, processing cattle, cattle movements, shipping, and the managing a crew of 2-5 people. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Cattle operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity. Oversee animal husbandry practices, including care, cattle movement, receiving, shipping, feeding, and health monitoring of livestock. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Train and mentor staff on best practices in animal handling, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate records inventory management of cattle and animal health products. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency and productivity. Requirements Proven supervisory experience in an agricultural or related setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance. Familiarity with animal husbandry principles and practices, including equine care. Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently is a plus. Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques as needed for repairs is a plus. Basic math skills for record keeping and inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
