This is a temporary-to-hire position
Position Summary Private hunting and fishing club is seeking a dependable, hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily club operations, member services, property maintenance, lodging, equipment, and recreational activities.
This is a full-time, live-in position with on-site housing provided. The opportunity may be suitable for a qualified individual or a couple. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily club operations and member services Maintain grounds, facilities, lodging, equipment, and recreational areas Operate boats, tractors, utility vehicles, mowers, hand tools, and related equipment Assist with general maintenance and property upkeep Support hunting, fishing, boating, and other outdoor recreational activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests Work independently and assist with changing seasonal priorities
Qualifications:
Hospitality and customer-service skills Comfortable working independently Employer has attendance policy Willingness to perform both hands-on and supervisory duties Experience operating maintenance equipment, boats, or similar machinery General knowledge of boating safety and vessel maintenance Communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions Flexible availability during peak seasons Knowledge of hunting, fishing, wildlife management, or outdoor recreation preferred Due to the nature of the job Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required High School diploma or GED Employer conducts drug screen an reference check Valid Driver's license or required travel
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a hunting or fishing club, lodge, resort, marina, plantation, property management operation, or similar outdoor recreation setting is preferred. CPR, First Aid, and Boater Safety certifications are a plus.
