at Justice, Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System in Pekin, Illinois, United States Job Description Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities Provides administrative and managerial guidance to the various aspects of the Trust Fund Department, which includes business operations, methods and procedures of Trust Fund and Warehouse, Laundry, Trust Fund Accounting and Commissary System ( TRUFACS ), inmate telephone ( TRUFONE ), Trust Fund Limited Inmate Computer Systems ( TRULINCS ), and Commissary operations of the Trust Fund Section and coordination of Trust Fund activities, finances, and supplies. Provides technical support and guidance to subordinate staff members designated responsible for the operation of various service functions. Responsible for overseeing all commissary sales and special purpose orders for the institution. Oversees the institution laundry and issuing of clothing and supplies required by the inmate population. Oversees the warehouse operations which includes receipt, storage, accountability and issuance of materials, supplies and equipment for the institution. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on regular and recurring basis.
