Main duties of the job Ensuring that requests for repeat prescriptions are actioned within 5 working days. This includes checking email requests, online, paper and phone. Responding to all queries and requests from chemists, nursing homes and district nurses, regarding the issue of prescriptions. Keeping repeat prescription information up-to-date in the patient journal, such as letters and doctors' requests. Medicine management liaising and discussing any enquires or queries raised by the clinical team. General ad hoc administration work. Flexibility to cover other areas when required multi-skill mix. Keep up-to-date with all prescribing guidelines and protocols, relevant to the position. About us Blyth's Meadow surgery is in Braintree and has a list size of 11,500 patients. We are part of Braintree PCN which is comprised of 5 surgeries. We have a really good, supportive team of 4 partners, 2 salaried doctors, 2 ANPs, 3 Nurses, a pharmacist and 3 paramedics.
