Grain Operations Employee | Ithaca, MI Join our team supporting local agriculture and grain management. MHC Marketing in Ithaca, MI, is seeking a full-time Grain Operations Employee to execute all core functions of our grain elevator operations. This role is ideal for a safety-minded, hands-on professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and possesses strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Overtime Pay:
Hourly compensation with overtime pay (Time-and-a-half) for hours over 40; pay rate based on qualifications and experience. 100%

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment & Grain Handling:
Operate and maintain grain handling equipment and heavy machinery (e.g., front-end loaders, skid steers) to safely move, load, and unload grain from trucks and storage bins.
Quality & Monitoring:
Monitor grain condition in storage and report updates promptly to management.
Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and operational procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Physical & Environmental Agility:
Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including environments with dust, fumes, and noise. Must be comfortable climbing, stooping, and kneeling at heights up to 180 feet.
Schedule Flexibility:
Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. most of the year, with longer hours and weekends required during peak harvest season.
Background Checks:
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening.
Preferred Experience:
A background in farming or agriculture—specifically experience with roasting soybeans and grinding corn—is a major plus.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
