Job Description Mustang Parks and Recreation

JOB TITLE

Concession Worker

PART TIME HOURS

Evenings and weekends, minimum of 15-20 hours preferred

SALARY:

$8.00/hr

Purpose of Position :

This is a non-exempt position in the Parks and Recreation Department that provides customer service to customers at various concession operations at recreational facilities within the City of Mustang.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Concession Site Supervisor and Concession Manager.

Essential Duties :

Maintain strong dedication to high quality customer service. Creating a friendly, professional, and positive first impressions through a profession and friendly demeanor including dress and personal grooming. Have a professional attitude that is reflected in all relationships with co-workers and the general public. Prepare, and serve products for sale. Restock and maintain prepared foods. Greet customer, assist with order, and follow procedures to fill order quickly and accurately. Keep concession and equipment clean and safe to ensure a safe work area. Perform janitorial duties, including but not limited to restroom cleaning and trash pickup. Follow all safety, city and department policies and procedure in a calm and professional manner. Work at café and concession cart as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.

Qualifications:

Training and Experience Training is provided. Customer service experience preferred. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Able to greet and engage with customers to give exceptional customer service. Good communication skills. Basic knowledge of computer, record keeping and the ability to make proper change. License and Certificates Possess and maintain workplace harassment training and blood borne pathogen training within three months of employment Work Environment Work will be indoors and outdoors. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Occasional late hours on weekends. May be required to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds, stock supplies and perform janitorial duties. May be required to kneel, stoop, lift and carry. Must wear closed toe shoes.
