Job Description

Job Summary The Assistant Lift Manager will be under the supervision of the Lift Operations Manager. They will be responsible for efficient lift operations. They will communicate with appropriate departments prior to and during operations as needed. They will have the ability to open, operate, and close all lifts according to policy and procedures. They will supervise and assist lift crew in opening, operational, and closing procedures. The supervisor will ensure that proper documentation is prepared according to policies and procedures. The lift supervisor must be able to recognize, remedy, and or communicate to proper personnel any abnormalities concerning lift operations, such as weather conditions, mechanical issues, guest services, and crew related issues. Essential Job Functions Be familiar with
ANSI B77. 1 2006
code. Proper and timely communication with appropriate area staff as related to lift operations. Knowledge and performance of opening, operational and closing procedures. Knowledge and performance of normal and emergency procedures. Ensure lift crew is properly trained to open, operate, and close assigned stations. Maintain proper documentation according to policy and procedures. Ongoing assessment of on hill situations to provide crew assistance, guest service, and manage labor. Provide and maintain lift station and lift office equipment. Provide and maintain required signage and other area policy signage. Assist crew with loading/unloading, crowd control, ticket checking/ scanning, and guest services. Collection and reviews of daily lift log. Investigate lift related incidents and prepare documentation according to policy . Prepare operational shift notes for the following shift. Knowledge, performance and enforcement of all Mt Hood Skibowl, LLC operating and emergency procedures. Maintain positive interaction and communication with guests and co-workers.
Non Essential Job Functions:
Assisting other departments as needed. Qualifications Requirements Must be over 18 to operate machinery Must have basic computer skills. Able to stand outdoors in a variety of extreme weather conditions for the entire shift Good verbal and written communication skills Able to lift 40lbs over your head repetitively Able to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly and courteous manner Able to work holidays and weekends to include evening shifts Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene policies of Mt Hood Skibowl LLC
