In Person Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable QA Clerk to support daily Quality Assurance and food safety operations at a food processing facility in Corona, CA. The QA Clerk will assist with quality inspections, documentation, data collection, recordkeeping, and compliance activities to help ensure products meet company quality and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment, and able to communicate effectively with production and QA teams. Experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or food safety is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Perform routine quality checks and inspections throughout the production process. Conduct visual inspections, weight checks, and other product quality verifications. Collect, record, and maintain accurate quality and production data. Complete QA forms, inspection records, and other required documentation. Assist with tracking quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company quality and food safety procedures. Follow SQF, GMP, HACCP, and other applicable food safety requirements. Assist with sanitation verification and food safety inspections. Perform environmental swabbing and microbiological sampling as required. Assist with internal audits and preparation of QA documentation. Review incoming materials and ingredients for compliance with established specifications. Use quality management software and Microsoft Office, including Excel, to maintain records and reports. Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies to the QA team and production management. Assist with investigations of product quality issues and customer complaints. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities. Assist with mock recalls and other food safety drills. Help maintain an organized and accurate QA filing and documentation system. Follow all company safety, sanitation, PPE, and food handling procedures. Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and QA personnel. Perform other quality assurance and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, food production, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred. Experience in a food processing or food manufacturing facility is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, or food safety practices is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a temperature-controlled food processing environment. Ability to work around wet conditions and potential food allergens. Ability to wear required PPE and follow all food safety and workplace safety requirements.
