Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Wildlife Management Technician and play a vital role in preserving ecological balance through effective wildlife control and habitat management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in pest management and environmental safety. You will be responsible for implementing wildlife control strategies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Your efforts will directly contribute to healthy ecosystems and community safety while gaining valuable experience in wildlife conservation, pest control, and land management practices. Responsibilities Conduct wildlife surveys and assessments to identify species presence and habitat conditions. Implement pest control measures using traps or other approved methods following safety protocols. Operate company vehicles safely during outdoor work activities. Apply integrated pest management techniques to control nuisance species while minimizing environmental impact. Use ladders and confined space entry procedures safely when accessing difficult or restricted areas for habitat maintenance or pest removal. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety procedures are followed during all operations related to ladder use or confined space entry. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in farming, landscaping, agriculture, or land management is highly desirable. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently; valid driver's license and clean driving record is required. Familiarity with ladder safety procedures and confined space safety protocols. Strong customer service skills for communicating effectively with team members and customers. Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks that involve climbing ladders, lifting equipment or materials, and working in various weather conditions. Commitment to safety protocol adherence and environmental stewardship throughout all job functions.
