Position Title:
Debris Removal Technician Job Summary:
A Debris Removal Technician is responsible for collecting, removing, loading, and disposing of debris, waste materials, and unwanted items from residential, commercial, construction, and disaster-affected properties. This position requires physical labor, safe equipment operation, and adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Remove and dispose of debris, trash, construction materials, and other waste from designated sites.
Load materials onto trucks, trailers, or disposal containers.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and debris removal equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist team members with lifting, hauling, and transporting materials.
Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Provide professional customer service while working on client properties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in debris removal, construction, landscaping, or manual labor is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50-100 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, walking, and standing.
Ability to work in dusty, muddy, and potentially hazardous environments.
