We are committed to finding innovative solutions to traditional work practices. Aeri Resources owns and successfully operates mobile ground-based LiDAR units that we use to conduct inspections above and beyond the traditional approach when appropriate for the project. Through our inspections and daily actions, we work to keep the lights on and reduce wildfire risk while providing excellence in customer service. Come grow with us! Consulting Utility Forester Inspects overhead power lines for proper vegetation clearance and compliance with the law, Performs post inspections and work verification on pre-inspection and vegetation management work, Documents information for client's vegetation management program, Inspects and assess trees for hazard potential, Assists in storm and emergency situations and other miscellaneous vegetation management projects, Communicates daily with the client, contractors, landowners, agencies and the public, Performs duties in a manner that will promote and maintain good public relations, Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned, Physical Requirements/Working Environment Ability to lift forty (40) pounds, bend, stoop, and work safely around equipment, materials, supplies, and other items to be handled, Exposure to weather and hazardous conditions, Walk on various terrain (Up/Down Hills/Slopes).
Certifications:
ISA Certified Arborist Designation Preferred Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (is a plus),
Position Requirements:
Valid Driver's License Position requires successful completion of preemployment background check and drug screen.
Other Experience:
Experience in Forestry, Arboriculture or Horticulture a plus, Must possess tree identification skills and the ability to read maps, Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to multi-task and an attention to detail, Must be able to work alone, outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain, Must be good with technology and have basic computer and smart phone skills, Customer Service (interacting with home owners/ property owners) Disclaimer This job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position.
