Training will begin in October in preparation for the store opening in Camarillo. Training will consist of two 8 hour shifts per week at Handel's Stevenson Ranch (25880 The Old Rd. Stevenson Ranch, CA). You must be at least 18 yrs. old to be an ice cream maker and out of high school. Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is the world's best ice cream. It's made fresh daily by our ice cream makers. The store is walk-up only. Employees will enjoy a fun, hard-working, fast-paced work environment. Ice cream makers arrive in the morning any time between 6am-10am to begin making ice cream. They will make anywhere from 10-40 batches per day, depending on day of the week and time of year. Once trained, ice cream makers should make 8 batches per hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Know how to follow a recipe and multi-task making multiple batches of ice cream at a time utilizing 2 machines.
• Ensuring a clean work environment by keeping machines, dishes and floors clean around the ice cream machines
• Assist with inventory management
• All employees are required to follow basic rules, maintain a positive attitude, work hard and follow all Handel's procedures

• Able to lift 5-10 lb bags/containers of ingredients
