YMCA Camp Massapoag is seeking applicants for an Office Support Staff to work at a Day Camp from now - August 21. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, are responsible, reliable, and enthusiastic. Candidates with previous experience in a day camp setting are preferred, but no such experience is required. These positions most often will not be responsible for the direct supervision of campers, but must still meet all requirements of camp staff in the event they are needed to fill in. All candidates must be at least 17 years old. Camp Massapoag is a traditional summer day camp in Dunstable, MA offering a wide variety of activities for children ages five through fifteen. Campers participate in teambuilding games and challenges, arts and crafts, nature exploration, sports, and waterfront activities. Office Administration & Support staff work with the Camp Director to manage the Camp Office and most often will serve as the primary point of contact with parents and guardians of campers. They also are responsible for organizing and adjusting rosters for daily attendance, extended day, and bus transportation. They will also maintain records and files regarding camper information, staff reminders and announcements, incident reports, and other clerical tasks as needed.
