Job Description Trinity Church is located in the heart of the city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, which offers an exceptional quality of life rooted in deep faith traditions and a celebrated global legacy. Affectionately called the "Christmas City," Bethlehem was established in 1741 by Moravian settlers whose architectural and communal legacy downtown was recently designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are seeking a priest who is: Spiritually grounded. Deeply rooted in their faith, with a vibrant and mature spiritual life that guides their leadership and pastoral care. A team-oriented leader who values a shared ministry, works well with staff and lay leaders and encourages the gifts of all members, fostering unity and promoting understanding. Able to preach with clarity, making the gospel relevant in people's lives while being thought provoking and challenging. Emotionally intelligent. A compassionate and self-aware individual who listens well, communicates clearly and responds to challenges with wisdom and empathy.

Note:

We are currently working through the final phases of restoring and renovating our building due to a city water main break in 2023, which has temporarily moved our worship to a neighboring church. Our congregation is now preparing for a joyous "homecoming" in mid-November 2026 to a fully renovated, barrier-free facility designed to be a hub for music, the arts, and radical hospitality.
