POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent, this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the packaging area such as cutting and hand stacking brick, repairing pallets and general clean-up; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuously observes operation of crew and performs a variety of personnel functions including training.
• Leads production crew
• Monitor the unloading of brick from belt
• Trains employees for required yard work and equipment operation Mentorship Program.
• Monitor the sorting of brick according to specifications
• Monitor the brick that does not meet quality standard thrown in grog belt
• Unclog grog belt or re-stock plastic as needed
• Re-stock packaging line with pallets andor wood strips
• Clean on or around grog belt around belts
• Checks equipment for proper function and operation
• Feeds production line and performs manual labor
• Regularly meets with supervisor
• Maintains work area according topany specifications for cleanliness and safety
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth bypany and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, andor ability required.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D or equivalentbination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
• Operating small hand and power tools and other related equipment.
• Production line experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift, and any other equipment required to perform duties.
• Perform manual labor.
• Understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.

PPE WAGE
