Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation Lead and manage a team of crew members, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow Oversee landscape maintenance routines such as irrigation management, grounds upkeep, and seasonal plantings Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including company vehicles and specialized landscaping tools Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health of landscapes Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards across multiple construction sites Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy landscapes Conduct quality inspections to guarantee work meets project specifications and client expectations Skills Extensive outdoor work experience Proven supervising experience leading landscaping crews on diverse projects Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and tree care techniques Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment and groundskeeping tools safely Ability to manage irrigation systems effectively for sustainable landscape watering Excellent team management skills with a focus on crew motivation and leadership Familiarity with hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures Experience working on construction projects or similar environments Competence in operating company vehicles responsibly for project transportation needs Knowledge of grounds maintenance best practices including pest control, fertilization, and seasonal plantings Join us as a Landscape Foreman to lead inspiring outdoor transformations!
