Must have experience with irrigation, hardscape and general landscape duties. Duties Lead and supervise landscaping crews to efficiently complete construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness. Perform lawn care, grounds maintenance, and landscape upkeep to maintain pristine outdoor environments. Install and maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and manage irrigation schedules to promote healthy plant growth. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers to ensure proper care and placement within landscape designs. Operate grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape tools with precision and safety. Oversee hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Manage company vehicle operation for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety protocols. Supervise team members by providing guidance on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and project goals. Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and materials inventory. Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure landscape designs meet specifications and expectations. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on landscaping or grounds maintenance. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles. Prior supervising or crew management experience in landscaping or related fields. Ability to identify plants accurately and understand their specific care requirements. Experience operating irrigation systems and troubleshooting common issues. Skilled in hardscape installation including patios, walkways, retaining walls, etc. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle safely. Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
