Overview Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Country Club Foreman, where you will lead and oversee the maintenance and landscaping of our prestigious club grounds. This role is perfect for a motivated, energetic professional passionate about outdoor work, horticulture, and team leadership. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising crew members, and ensuring the highest standards of turf care, landscape maintenance, and overall grounds aesthetics are met consistently. Your expertise will help create an inviting environment that enhances members' experience and maintains the club's reputation for excellence. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance activities to ensure high-quality results. Lead and manage a team of groundskeeping crew members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a productive work environment. Oversee irrigation management, including installation, repair, and operation of irrigation systems to promote healthy turf and plant growth. Maintain knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, tree care, and gardening techniques to support sustainable landscape health. Manage construction projects related to hardscape installation or renovation efforts on club grounds. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles. Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the property. Skills Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening with a focus on quality results. Strong supervising experience with team management skills that motivate and develop crew members. Knowledge of irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting to optimize watering schedules. Ability to identify various plants, trees, and landscape features accurately for proper care and maintenance. Familiarity with construction projects involving hardscape elements such as patios or pathways. Skilled in operating groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively in outdoor environments. Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently. Outdoor work experience in a fast-paced setting requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
