We are currently hiring experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leaders to lead commercial maintenance crews in the field. This is a hands-on leadership position. Our Crew Leaders work alongside their teams while taking responsibility for safety, quality, productivity, equipment, and making sure each property is completed correctly and efficiently. If you know commercial landscape maintenance, can lead people, and understand how to keep a crew moving without sacrificing safety or quality, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew each day Organize the crew and assign work to keep properties on schedule and production goals on track Ensure all work meets MTScapes quality standards Maintain a strong focus on crew safety and proper work practices Safely drive company trucks and trailers to and from job sites Ensure equipment and materials are loaded, secured, maintained, and accounted for Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, pruning, bed maintenance, and other landscape maintenance services Lead seasonal services including mulch installation, plant installation, and property cleanups Identify property issues and communicate them to management Train and develop crew members on proper techniques, safety, and efficient production Represent MTScapes professionally on customer properties This is not a supervisor-from-the-truck position. Our Crew Leaders are working leaders who set the pace, help their team succeed, and take ownership of the properties assigned to them.
