Cobblestone Landscaping is a Design Build company based out of Genesee, ID. We are seeking a responsible and experienced self-starter to be our new Landscape Crew Foreman. The Landscape Crew Foreman's responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment as well as the ability to run equipment, ensuring crew members observe safety guidelines and protocols, and managing material acquisition. You should also have leadership skills and sound knowledge of landscape construction practices. To be successful as a Landscape Crew Foreman, you should be able to both follow and provide instructions, be willing to expand their horticulture knowledge, be a keen problem-solver, and possess excellent communication skills. Job duties include but are not limited to: Execute landscaping projects - retention walls, paver patios, irrigation system installation, water features, night lighting, plant material, artificial turf, decks, fencing, and the like. Manage project timelines and material acquisition, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Working on the jobsite while managing a crew of 2-3 team members, providing direction to ensure high-quality work. Operating various tools and equipment, including: excavator, skid steer, tractor, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc. Having the ability to read blueprints. Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner. Irrigation system knowledge preferred. Train and mentor team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition while enforcing standards of cleanliness and organization in trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas. Qualifications Previous experience in landscape field. Strong knowledge of landscape / hardscape installation. Proficient in operating landscaping equipment and tools. Leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Driver's license - required.
