at Department of Human Services in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Position Overview The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Support Service Coordinator I for the Elizabeth Packard Mental Health Center located in Springfield, Illinois to monitor and direct the seeding, planting and trimming of trees and shrubbery. Serves as designated lead worker. Directs sodding and minor earth grading involved in soil erosion control and the improvement and maintenance of grounds and roadsides. Mows and trims lawns, kills weeds, removes snow and ice, and performs minor street repairs. Delivers drugs, food and equipment to residential buildings and equipment in the Administration Building. Essential Functions Monitors and directs the seeding, planting, and trimming of trees and shrubbery. Serves as designated lead worker. Directs the removal of snow and ice from walks, porches, driveways and parking areas. Directs the application of insecticides, pesticides and herbicides applicable to the grounds. Coordinates the use of equipment such as lawn mowers, chain saws, tractors, etc. Directs the movement of equipment here on grounds from one location to another. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. < To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
