Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Landscape Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance and landscaping construction projects. In this role, you will manage multiple construction projects, supervise crews, and ensure the delivery of high-quality outdoor environments. Your leadership will drive team performance, maintain plant health, and uphold the highest standards of landscape aesthetics and safety. Duties Lead, supervise and work with landscape crews, ensuring efficient execution of landscaping construction for commercial and residential projects. Assist in the completion of landscape construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal management and crews. Oversee the installation of project layout staking. Assist management staff in training labor force for sustainable quality. Work with subcontractors for quality installation. Direct crews in planting installation. Oversee turf establishment prep and seeding applications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor landscape health, perform maintenance activities, and address any issues promptly. Supervise crew management activities including scheduling, training, and safety protocols. Work with crews on restoration of commercial landscape projects. Oversee snowplowing accounts. Assist with bidding commercial and residential projects and executing submittals for landed projects. Work with upper management to organize crews and scheduling projections. Execute plant and material orders. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong background in supervising teams. Demonstrated knowledge of plant identification, lawn care techniques, and tree care practices. Prior experience managing construction projects or similar large-scale outdoor developments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse crews effectively. Construction experience is highly desirable to understand project scope and execution requirements. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and subcontractors. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with landscape work including lifting, bending, and operating equipment safely. Holding a valid Chauffeur's license or CDL A is preferred.
