Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed Position Summary Season to Season Landscaping is expanding our Wilmington and Coastal North Carolina operations and is looking for an experienced Landscape Installation Foreman to join our growing team. This position will lead a landscape installation crew completing new construction and landscape installation projects throughout the Wilmington and surrounding coastal markets. This position reports daily to our Bolivia, NC office before traveling to assigned jobsites. We are looking for an experienced landscape professional who can lead people, manage a jobsite, operate equipment, read landscape plans, maintain production expectations, and take ownership of the quality of the finished product. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a landscape installation crew. Report to the Bolivia, NC office and travel with the crew to assigned jobsites. Coordinate daily crew assignments and maintain production goals. Install sod, trees, shrubs, mulch, pine straw, seed and straw, and other landscape materials. Perform and oversee landscape bed preparation and final site cleanup. Read and understand landscape plans and installation layouts. Verify plant quantities and materials before beginning work. Ensure plants, trees, sod, and other materials are installed correctly. Ensure jobs are completed according to company standards and customer specifications. Inspect completed work before leaving each jobsite. Communicate material shortages, jobsite conditions, damage, plan discrepancies, or other problems to management. Safely operate skid steers, mini skid steers, tractors, and other landscape equipment as needed. Properly load, secure, and transport equipment and materials. Maintain trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment assigned to the crew. Complete basic daily equipment inspections and report repair needs. Maintain an organized and safe jobsite. Train and develop crew members. Track daily production and communicate job completion to management. Maintain professional communication with builders, customers, project managers, and other trades on the jobsite. Qualifications Previous professional landscape installation experience required. Previous Foreman or Crew Leader experience strongly preferred. Experience installing sod, trees, shrubs, mulch, and other landscape materials. Ability to read and understand landscape plans preferred. Experience operating skid steers and other landscape equipment preferred. Ability to lead, train, and hold a crew accountable. Ability to manage production and complete work within scheduled timeframes. Strong attention to detail and finished-product quality. Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and changing weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record strongly preferred. Ability to safely drive a truck and landscape trailer strongly preferred.
