THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Production Manager to be the operational backbone of an assigned book of landscape maintenance business out of our Statesville Office. You'll lead crews and foremen in the field, own scheduling and routing, and drive the quality and labor efficiency that keeps TJL's standards high and clients satisfied. You'll partner closely with an Account Manager who owns the client relationship, giving you a true teammate in the field rather than working the account alone.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Directly supervise assigned field crews and foremen, running one-on-ones and weekly safety meetings that keep the team sharp and accountable Own crew scheduling and routing for your assigned accounts, adjusting in real time for weather, call-outs, and client priorities Conduct field quality inspections and coach foremen in real time, so problems get caught and fixed before they reach the client Manage labor hours and material allocations to keep jobs on budget and operations running efficiently Spot enhancement opportunities in the field and hand them off to your Account Manager, with the chance to carry your own enhancement sales goal Represent TJL professionally in every client interaction, stepping in on-site when it matters
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of landscape industry experience, including field leadership or crew supervision A track record of leading crews, managing schedules, and driving operational efficiency Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills Comfort with field management software (Aspire experience a plus) and Microsoft Office A valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record Bilingual English/Spanish, a Horticulture or Business degree, or a
CLP/NCNLA
credential are all a plus, but not required
