TBD Accepting applications, interviews to be conducted as needed: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain the aesthetic and functional aspects of our golf course. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscaping, irrigation, mechanics, maintenance practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role is essential for ensuring that our grounds are safe, clean, and visually appealing. Duties Perform routine landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding to maintain the beauty of the course. Ensure proper maintenance of all landscaping equipment and tools. Assist in project scheduling for seasonal landscaping activities and special projects. Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure landscaping aligns with project specifications. Supervise junior staff or volunteers during landscaping projects to ensure quality standards are met. Utilize construction estimating techniques to assess material needs for upcoming projects. Monitor the health of plants and trees, applying fertilizers or pesticides as necessary while adhering to environmental guidelines. Skills Proficient in project scheduling and managing timelines effectively. Strong understanding of schematics related to turf and maintenance. Experience with mechanic maintenance. Ability to supervise teams effectively, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Competence in blueprint reading to assist in landscape planning and execution. Skills in construction estimating to accurately predict costs associated with landscaping projects. Pest and disease control. Irrigation systems management. Prior experience is a PLUS.
