Overview:
To ensure hotel property is well maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality.
Essential Functions:
Come work, live and Play in the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Do you enjoy working outside and with your hands to beautify environments in a spectacular setting? If so, this is the job for you. Knolwedge of landscape/horticulture/construction and snow removal applications. Self-motivated, team leader, problem solver, attention to detail and multi-task. Ability to Work outside in all weather conditions. Lead and supervise teams to accomplish daily landscape, horticulture and snow removal tasks. Maintain landscape and outdoor areas in all capacities: Mowing, Pruning, weeding, watering, planting, mulching. Plant healthcare, trash clean-up etc. Keep the hotel property in excellent condition as weather allows. Snow removal during winter seasons in non-seasonal positions, landscaping during summer months. Knowledge of landscape/horticulture related tools and small machines. Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Tools and Equipment:
Ability to work with and maintain landscape, horticulture and snow removal equipment.
Working Environment:
Subject to working in a crowded, fast paced environment as part of a team, with long periods of walking and standing outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Eagerness to learn and be a team player. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to work early mornings and weekends. A degree or certificate in landscape/horticulture or related field a plus. Valid driver's license required to drive company vehicles Attend Monthly department meetings and departmental lineups.
