Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our outdoor landscaping and grounds maintenance projects. In this role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate team efforts, and ensure high-quality execution of landscaping, lawn care, and hardscape installations. Your leadership will drive project success while maintaining safety standards and fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to complete construction projects efficiently and to high standards Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds upkeep Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal landscape health Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to guide planting decisions and landscape design adaptations Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation tools Lead hardscape projects such as paving, stonework, retaining walls, and outdoor features with precision Ensure crew adherence to safety protocols while managing multiple projects simultaneously Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and material inventory Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on landscaping and grounds maintenance Proven supervising experience in landscape or construction settings with strong team management skills Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and landscape design principles Skilled in irrigation management including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely along with company vehicle operation for project transport Familiarity with hardscape construction techniques such as paving and stonework Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and coordinate tasks effectively Experience managing construction projects from start to finish with attention to detail Competence in tree care practices and gardening fundamentals to enhance landscape aesthetics Ability to perform physical outdoor tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Landscape Foreman where your expertise will shape beautiful outdoor spaces!
