In this dynamic role, you will lead crew members through various landscaping projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency. Your leadership will inspire teamwork and uphold high standards in landscape maintenance, lawn care, tree care, irrigation, gardening, and horticulture practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape vibrant outdoor spaces while fostering a positive work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, trimming, mowing, pruning, and landscape installation projects Lead a team of landscapers by providing clear instructions, training, and support to ensure safety and productivity Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, irrigation system setup and repairs, gardening, and horticultural treatments Oversee construction-related landscaping projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines Conduct inspections of work sites to maintain quality standards and safety protocols Manage equipment maintenance and proper use of tools to maximize efficiency and longevity Support team members with technical guidance on tree care, pest management, soil health, and other horticultural practices Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping techniques, and horticulture practices Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively Knowledge of lawn care routines including mowing schedules, fertilization, aeration, and pest control Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping or planting beds Expertise in tree care including pruning, trimming, cabling or removal when necessary Ability to operate irrigation systems and troubleshoot common issues Passion for gardening and environmental stewardship with a focus on sustainable practices Demonstrated leadership skills with excellent communication abilities Commitment to safety standards and proper equipment maintenance Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs while maintaining high-quality work Join us as a Crew Leader in our vibrant landscaping team!
