Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic grounds maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, beautiful, and well-kept. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and equipment operation will contribute to creating inviting environments for clients and communities alike. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of landscapes Conduct hardscape installations and repairs including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Perform snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties while adhering to safety standards Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on landscape maintenance and gardening practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators for construction or landscaping projects Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and tree care techniques including trimming and pruning Experience in snow plowing operations during winter seasons for year-round grounds upkeep Construction experience related to hardscape features or outdoor structures is a plus Excellent safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure working environment at all times Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
