Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lawn Care Crew Chief/Driver to lead our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will oversee lawn care and landscape maintenance projects, operate company vehicles safely, and manage crew activities to ensure high-quality service delivery. Your leadership will drive team efficiency, uphold safety standards, and maintain the pristine appearance of our clients' outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on landscaping expertise with team management skills in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Duties Lead and supervise a crew responsible for lawn care, landscape maintenance, and hardscape projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards Operate company vehicles safely for transportation to job sites, including trucks and trailers, adhering to all safety protocols Manage daily schedules and assign tasks related to grounds maintenance and general landscaping activities. Conduct site inspections to assess project progress and ensure quality control. Oversee equipment operation including grounds maintenance tools, horticulture equipment and other landscaping machinery. Coordinate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met while maintaining safety standards. Support crew training on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and landscaping techniques to foster a productive work environment Skills Proven experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or crew management experience. Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape tools is a must. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely (company vehicle operation). Able to operate vehicles with attached trailers is a must. Excellent outdoor work endurance with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions is a must. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
