Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Golf Course Grounds Keeper to maintain our golf course. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are safe and well-maintained to provide an exceptional experience for players. Your work will involve a variety of groundskeeping tasks, including landscape maintenance, and equipment operation, all performed with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant outdoor environment while honing your skills in horticulture and grounds management. Responsibilities Maintain the golf course's turf, fairways, greens, and surrounding landscapes through mowing. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, blowers, weedeaters, and other landscaping machinery. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, raking, and pruning to support landscape aesthetics. Use hand tools while adhering to all safety standards related to power tool operation and maintenance. Operate company vehicles for transporting equipment or supplies around the course while maintaining proper safety procedures. Support seasonal landscaping projects and general maintenance activities to enhance the course's visual appeal. Skills Knowledge of landscape maintenance and lawn care. Proficiency with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, power tools, and specialized landscaping machinery. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique to prevent injury. Excellent attention to detail in turf care, landscaping design, and overall course presentation. Good communication skills for teamwork and reporting maintenance issues effectively. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Knowledge of power tool safety standards and routine equipment maintenance practices.
