Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves assisting with various landscaping projects and completes landscape installation jobs of high quality in an efficient manner. Plants flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation to create new outdoor spaces or to upgrade existing ones. ? Trim, fertilize, mulch, and water plants. Installs lawns or construct hardscapes such as walkways, patios, and decks. Uses hand tools (shovels, rakes) and operating power equipment (weed trimmers, blowers, chainsaws). Loads/unloads company trucks and trailers, and assisting crew leaders with project tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outside for long hours in Arkansas heat. Generally 40+ hours per week, frequently including Monday-Friday with occasional weekends. No prior experience or education is required; training is typically provided on the job. Dependability for daily transportation to work sites is essential.
Responsibilities:
Assist with landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks, including digging, trenching, and installing hardscape features Support construction projects by using equipment like excavators and other machinery under supervision Help with gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to horticultural best practices Experience Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or related outdoor maintenance roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Knowledge of mechanical systems, hand tools, power tools, and equipment operation is highly beneficial Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in horticulture and construction environments
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
