Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and gardening, with hands-on experience in lawn care, and groundskeeping. This role involves nurturing plants, maintaining outdoor spaces, and ensuring that gardens and landscapes are healthy and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching to enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces. Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks. Conduct regular inspections of garden areas to identify pests or diseases and take appropriate action to mitigate issues. Maintain lawns through mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and watering to ensure healthy growth. Collaborate with team members to plan garden layouts and select appropriate plant species for specific environments. Keep accurate records of plant care activities, including watering schedules and fertilization applications. Ensure that all gardening equipment is cleaned, stored properly, and maintained in good working condition. Requirements Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, and pest control. Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely. Strong attention to detail with a passion for horticulture and landscaping. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
