Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks aimed at enhancing the beauty and health of outdoor spaces, ensuring that properties are well-kept and visually appealing. Looking for someone local to Truckee, or from northwest Reno. •No winter work• Duties Perform mowing and lawn care activities to maintain healthy grass and landscapes. Conduct regular landscape maintenance, including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. Utilize power tools and equipment for efficient landscape management. Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed. Execute tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees. Maintain gardens by planting, watering, and caring for various plants. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools. Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner. Experience Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with mowing techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and lawn care is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools effectively is a plus. A willingness to learn new skills related to gardening and landscape management is essential. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
