Job Description

HBM is looking for a dedicated individual with entry level landscape or grounds keeping experience to maintain the landscape of a school. The hours are typically 6am - 2:30pm - Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts. Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities the Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the landscape of the property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Mowing lawns, removing weeds, trimming shrubs, planting new greenery, and removing unwanted trees. Performs regular preventative, reactive, and predictable maintenance on irrigation systems, landscape, hardscape, and drainage systems. Digging trenches for irrigation General handyperson functions to satisfy jobs throughout the facility. Includes small repairs, painting, hanging items etc.

Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities): Basic knowledge of gardening irrigation and landscaping work, and the various tools required to perform landscaping/gardening work. Ability to communicate with property staff and team members in a clear, professional manner. Ability to adhere to company safety protocols. Able to work independently and complete tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, pull, push 50 pounds. Exposed to wet or humid conditions and inclement seasonal weather, summer heat, cold weather. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting for long periods of time.

Other Requirements:

Valid Driver License Must be able to pass federal background check. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour
