The position requires 40 to 45 hours during peak weeks, with weekend availability as needed. Compensation ranges from 750 to 950 dollars per week based on experience. Responsibilities Assist in landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects Perform lawn care duties such as aerating, fertilizing, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers and drip lines for optimal watering efficiency Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways for clients Support excavation projects using equipment such as excavators for site preparation or landscape installation Perform routine landscape maintenance including gardening tasks and general site cleanup to uphold high standards of appearance Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping practices, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators is highly desirable Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively in various weather conditions Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and garden maintenance Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair techniques Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor involving lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality workmanship Valid driver's license may be required for equipment operation or transportation purposes Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape beautiful landscapes while gaining valuable experience in the landscaping industry!
