We are currently seeking a dependable, hardworking Porter / Groundskeeper to join our maintenance team at an apartment community in Tavares, Florida. What You'll Do As a Porter / Groundskeeper, you'll work closely with the property management and maintenance teams to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and overall condition of the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintain property grounds and help ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and welcoming. Inspect and clean common areas throughout the community. Clean and maintain hallways, stairways, breezeways, entrances, and other shared spaces. Pick up litter and debris throughout the property and exterior grounds. Maintain the property's trash and compactor areas and help ensure waste is handled appropriately. Assist with keeping dumpster and trash collection areas clean and organized. Support the maintenance team with day-to-day property needs and projects. Assist with light groundskeeping and exterior property upkeep as needed. Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions. Assist with preparing common areas and exterior spaces for inspections, resident events, or property visits. Use company equipment, tools, and supplies safely and responsibly. Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with residents, vendors, and team members. Follow Cagan safety practices, policies, and community standards. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support the operational needs of the community. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and takes pride in maintaining a property residents are proud to call home.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year of related multifamily, apartment, groundskeeping, porter, janitorial, maintenance, or property experience preferred. Previous apartment community experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas requiring attention. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. Professional and respectful communication with residents and coworkers. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize assignments, and complete work efficiently. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying Florida weather conditions. Ability to safely use basic maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping equipment.
