POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor; report any observed violations of property rules and report any needed repairs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

TRAINING/CERTIFICATES/ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS

• Certifications/permits required by city/state to perform job responsibilities (i.e. pool operations)

POSITION ACCOUTABILITIES

The following are essential job accountabilities: 1. Remove trash (i.e. papers, cups, cigarette/cigar butts, boxes, etc.) from the office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. 2. Clean and maintain pool, monitor/maintain proper chemical balance of pool, and update pool logs. 3. Check gates to pool area for proper operation and ensure that they are always locked. 4. Clean carpets in vacant and occupied units as directed by management team. a. Dry vacuum before and after cleaning; may need to spot clean for heavy soiled areas b. Mix cleaning solution for wet vacuum and change water when necessary 5. Water property plants, flowers, and grass in between scheduled visits or in absence of lawn care vendor. 6. May be required to assist in other areas of property including make-ready, painting, & furniture moving. 7. May be assigned to door-to-door trash pickup duties if apartment community offers as an amenity. This job description should not be considered all-inclusive. It is merely a guide of expected duties. Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
