We're hiring Grounds Maintenance Technicians for mowing, landscape maintenance, specialty lawn services, and snow removal. No professional experience is required. We provide paid hands-on training, and experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply. Starting pay reflects relevant experience, equipment proficiency, driving record, certifications, and other qualifications. What You'll Do Perform mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, seeding, aeration, cleanup, and other property-maintenance services Complete assigned routes, daily schedules, and service records using a company tablet Safely operate and care for company vehicles and professional equipment Inspect properties and communicate professionally with customers Assist other service teams and participate in snow removal as needed The Job, Honestly This is physical outdoor work in heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow. Previous equipment experience is not required, but you must be willing to learn and safely operate professional equipment. Most active-season weeks run 30-45 hours and average approximately 40; hours are weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed. Shifts may occasionally run past 12 hours during peak growth, weather recovery, or snow events. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call snow removal—including occasional overnight, Sunday, and holiday work—are part of the job. This is an hourly, non-exempt position; overtime is paid as required by applicable law. Employees who earn both certifications and move into a certified position qualify for higher pay and an expanded benefits package after applicable waiting periods. Eligible insurance benefits continue through the seasonal winter layoff for certified employees. What We're Looking For At least 18 years old Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Willing to learn and safely operate professional equipment Able to use a company tablet and mobile technology Able to lift or carry up to 100 pounds and perform demanding outdoor work, with or without reasonable accommodation Dependable, professional, and eager to learn Already hold Iowa Core and 3T certification?
