Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Boat Driver, Truck and Trailer Driver, and Yard Crew member, where your energy and expertise will keep our water transportation operations running smoothly and safely. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for operating boats, trucks, and trailers to transport vessels and equipment, maintaining water transportation gear, and supporting yard activities. Your proactive approach will ensure compliance with US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of water-based logistics while providing excellent customer service and ensuring vessel safety. Duties Safely operate boats in accordance with USCG regulations, ensuring smooth vessel handling at all times Drive trucks and trailers to transport boats, equipment, and supplies between docks, yards, and storage areas with precision and care Assist with yard operations by organizing storage areas, loading/unloading vessels, and maintaining water transportation equipment Conduct routine maintenance on boats, trucks, trailers, and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance Support vessel maintenance activities including rigging, rope handling, vessel inspections, and minor mechanical repairs Follow water transportation industry best practices for safety protocols. Communicate effectively with crew members regarding vessel status, safety procedures, and operational updates Qualifications Ability to drive different types of watercraft Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating trucks and trailers preferred Familiarity with USCG regulations related to vessel operation and water transportation safety standards Mechanical knowledge including basic boat repair, rigging skills, crane operation (if applicable), and equipment maintenance experience Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including rope handling, trailer loading of watercraft and yard organization Excellent communication skills for coordinating with crew members and supporting customer service when interacting with clients or visitors Join us in this vital role where your skills will drive our success on the water! Pay:
$13.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 28.0 per week
