Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper horticultural care and landscape design Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote optimal watering schedules Execute tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly following safety protocols to protect plant health and the environment Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways or retaining walls while adhering to safety standards Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents or injuries Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping equipment and troubleshooting minor issues Experience with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, and groundskeeping Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment operation Ability to identify plants, trees, and pests relevant to landscape health Knowledge of pesticide management and safe chemical application techniques Understanding of irrigation systems for installation and repair purposes Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence Familiarity with horticulture principles and lawn care best practices Ability to perform tree trimming, pruning, and general gardening tasks effectively Experience working with hardscape elements such as pathways or stone features This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments.
