Job Description
Join the Grounds & Maintenance team at Stewart Home & School, a private school and residential community serving children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our beautiful 100-acre campus is located within an 933+ acre farm in Frankfort, Kentucky, providing a unique and rewarding work environment. This full-time position focuses primarily on gardening and landscape maintenance, including weeding, pruning, trimming, mulching, planting, and maintaining multiple landscaped areas throughout campus within our Facilities Department. Additional (and Off-Season) responsibilities may include snow removal, painting, moving furniture or student belongings, assisting the Grounds & Maintenance team with general campus upkeep, and other related duties. Qualifications Gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to successfully pass a background check. Strong employment and character references. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
