Job Description

Assist with various tasks related to power line construction and maintenance. This includes preparing job sites, digging holes for poles, and padding ditches

Material Handling:

responsible for handing necessary materials and tools to linemen, such as conduit and cables, and ensuring that all tools are in good working condition Site Safety and Cleanup help maintain safety at job sites by managing traffic around the work area and cleaning up after operations. They also notify customers about potential service interruptions

Equipment Operation:

operate light machinery and tools.

Team Collaboration:

work closely with linemen and other crew members, relying on teamwork to ensure safety and efficiency during operations

Skills Required Mechanical Skills:

A good understanding of mechanical systems is essential, as groundmen often handle tools and equipment used in electrical work

Physical Stamina:

The role requires physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions

Safety Awareness:

Groundmen must adhere to safety protocols to protect themselves and their coworkers while on the job

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, or GED Required Valid Driver's License .
